I figure it's worth a try. The ABC board seems to have jumped the shark. Here we can send private messages to each other, post videos, pictures, basically do everything a real forum should be able to do. And no ABC censors to worry about. Register a handle and join in and if enough people come over we can make this place a fun place to discuss the show. Once we have a few members posting, I will remove the ability for guests to post. Still getting used to this forum software.  |

I have no idea. I can try posting the address again on the official board but that will probably get me banned. Wouldn't be the first time but it's a real pain creating a new name and email address and a new IP address and clearing my cookies and browser cache and everything. Anyone who has contact info for members over there could always try sending it around that way. It would not hurt anyways.

It would be nice to have a board where you can have a discussion like adults. I have read the DWTS board and there seems to be a group that chat in a fantasy. Their ramblings have nothing to do with DWTS and they appear to be the main posters. This is fine if you enjoy that type of board, but it does not do much to encourage posting there.

Yes, "The Clique" as I call them. IMO they dominate the board with inside jokes and conversations that has little if anything to do with dancing.

I enjoyed the show tonight!! I thought everyone did well. I hated to see Redfoo go home, he danced great. I am amazed at the fourteen year old, Willow. She certainly dances with maturity.

Well if anyone has the urge to do that here, I have created sections distinctly for that purpose such as The Lounge or Sports sections as well as a section to discuss any other TV programs they might wish to discuss. This will keep the off topic posts out of the main DWTS sections. I will also merge similar threads together, such as when 4 or 5 people get an idea to post the same new thread at the same time leading to a real mess of confusion as to which one to post in. Of course people can create their 'OFFICIAL' fan thread for their favourite couple that will not be merged with any other. If any thread is merged or deleted or otherwise tampered with by myself or a mod, and someone has a problem or question about it, just send me a PM and I will let you know what happened. I want to keep everything as open and transparent as possible around here. No posts will vanish without explanation or valid reason on this board.  |
