Henry started off the season in the troupe. Then he became Derek's assistant (only Derek would be handed an assistant) with Nastia. Suddenly no more Henry, is he even still in the troupe? What happened? Some have said he got a little too proprietary about Nastia on SM and was therefore banished with Sasha inheriting the assistant role. What does anyone think?

Hi, I don't know much about this, but did take a quick look around and if he's not with the show anymore it must be something that just happened, like just within the past few days, because Henry tweeted a pic of himself and Amber Riley from back stage at the anniversary show taping. The tweet with the pic is dated April 23rd.

The tweet with the pic is dated April 23rd. If you saw that pic as recently as Apr 23 it is probably safe to say that Henry is ensconced in the troupe again. But I would dearly love to know why he was removed as Derek's assistant so abruptly. My snoopy side manifesting! |

Henry is dancing with the Sway show in June. I think I read somewhere that he's going to be Amy's partner. Think I may have seen a pic somewhere of him rehearsing with Amy.
Do you by any chance know when DWTS made the change from Henry to Sasha assisting Derek with Nastia's rehearsals? I'm just thinking if it was after Derek's injury there's a big difference between assisting one or two days per week but then suddenly becoming Nastia's on-air partner, possibly for the remainder of the season. That would probably involve being with Nastia every day of the week, so perhaps Henry would have been too stretched out fulfilling both commitments?

My first impulse was to say the transfer from Henry to Sasha happened before DH was injured. But on second thought I am not positive so I will check out a couple of other forums that talked about this. If it was previous to the injury it wasn't long before at any rate.
I am happy for Henry to be part of Sway. They do have a star studded cast, don't they?

I can't find a definite date anywhere that confirms Henry being replaced by Sasha before or after the injury fact. However, the other forums did a mighty lot of speculating as to why. Most posters thought he was demoted with a variety of reasons thrown out on the floor. Guess we will never really know but I confess, I'd like to!

I've seen some of that being discussed, but still don't feel like I know a lot. I guess my admittedly under-informed sense of things is that there's probably a very understandable reason for the switch being made.
