By the end of last season I was really tired of seeing almost every dance turn into a group routine and it looks like this year will be no different. Why does there have to be troupe members in almost every team's routine?

At least tonight I'm recording it and mainly watching the finale of So You Think You Can Dance to see some real, quality dancing. But next week SYTYCD will be over and I hope there will be some alternative to watch.

And I can't let this post end without once again saying how I CANNOT STAND LISTENING TO THAT HARPY VOICE!!!!! ERIN MUST GO!!!!!!!

I think I figured it out. They use the troupe members to give weaker dancers who they want to stick around awhile some help by distracting the viewers. They used them with the Vine kid because they don't want him to get bounced early in the season as he attracts the young tween girl audience.
